A Hazy Day

UGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I received this quote in an email from a friend last night.  Today I find it beyond appropriate...

"I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow."  Maya Angelou

Flowers from the Garden

Unfortunately it has been so HOT here, that many of my flowers are withering before I can get to them.  I found a few this morning to bring inside.  Enjoy!

What a View!

Can you imagine if this was the view at the end of YOUR street?  Or out YOUR back door?  How incredibly lucky you would be...I'd just look out the window all day!  Want to know what it is that I can not possibly imagine here?  What I hope never to see in this picture?

OIL!!!

I'm NOT Braggin'

I just CAN NOT get over how large some of my veggies have grown.  I probably should have picked the cucumbers a tad bit sooner, but I forgot during the week and then walk out there Friday evening to find ENORMOUS veggies!  And, might I add, delicious too!!

P.S.  The basket that they are pictured in is NOT a small basket!!!

There isn't much better than fresh, organic, homegrown veggies!  Have I said that before?  UHHH  HUHHH!!
